Nimbus Horizon is an encaustic painting created with beeswax and pigments on a cradled birch board.

The painting measures 24”x36” on 2” deep board and is framed in a light wood floating frame.

The depth and translucency of encaustic paint is what drew me to this medium and I find it perfect to convey the atmospheric scenes of my paintings. Nimbus Horizon celebrates the incredible clouds that appear with a change in the weather.
