Sundown is an encaustic painting created with wax and pigments on a birch board.

The painting measures 24”x24”.
Framed in a brushed silver metal floater frame.

The depth and translucency of encaustic paint is what drew me to this medium and I find it perfect to convey the atmospheric scenes in my paintings. Blush Sky is my interpretation of the early evening sky over the Provincetown bay which often turns to a rosy pink.
