2025 wrapup
2025 is winding down and I wanted to take a minute to look back on the year’s art-related accomplishments. I’m happy to say that it has been an eventful year art-wise. In January I joined Kingston Gallery in Boston’s South End. Founded in 1982 it is one of Boston’s oldest cooperative galleries exhibiting the work of Boston-area contemporary artists. Kingston Gallery has a great group of members who form a supportive and talented roster. If you have never visited the gallery make a point to next time you are in Boston’s South End. It is located in the 450 Harrison Ave. artists building.
In July I had my first exhibition in Kingston’s Project Space gallery and then joined 5 other new members of the gallery for a group show in September entitled Six New Members.
In August one of my paintings was featured on the WGBH Community Canvas - a (very) large digital billboard over the Mass Pike which can be seen as you are driving East into Boston. They feature local artists work for one day of digital glory.
Also this year my work went into the homes of local collectors, was chosen by an interior designer for a home that was featured in New England Home magazine, was shown at Left Bank Gallery in Wellfleet, brought some color to a yoga studio, as well as being placed in healthcare offices and hotels.
To wrap up the year, in December I’ll have work in Plenty, the annual small works show put on by 13Forest Gallery in Arlington, MA. A favorite exhibit with an opening reception that is always a party.
All this while staying engaged in my studio on large and small paintings. Keep an eye out for a solo exhibit in November of 2026 - more details to follow.
Here is my painting on the WGBH Community Canvas which hovers over the Mass Pike as you are heading into Boston. It was featured for one day in August 2025, and it was quite a surreal site to see.
